A recent Pew Research study of more than 4,700 Americans reveals that while 80% of people believe in God or a higher power only a slim majority now believe in the God of the Bible. What does this study reveal about our nation’s future? A closer look reveals and even lower percentage of belief in the God of the Bible among young Americans. Among those 18 to 29 years old only 43% believe in the God of the Bible. The emerging generation does not appear to be trending toward theism, but rather toward alternative views of God. The remedy is to define God according to His word. Let’s read it and live it out today.
