I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.
Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I will praise him.
Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all the generations. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night.

Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; It is he who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. We are His people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
