I Will Be With You

There’s an interesting thing that these verses have in common:
- Genesis 28:15, I am with you
- Judges 6:15, I will be with you
- Isaiah 41:10, I am with you
- Isaiah 43:2, I will be with you
- Matthew 28:20, I am with you always, to the end of the age
- Hebrews 13:5, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Did you catch the common thread? First, and most obvious, we are promised that God will be with us—always. He will be with us “to the end of the age.” He will never leave or forsake us.
But here’s the thing that may not have struck you. Did you notice God said He would be with us? Not that His angels would be with us, but that He, personally, would be with us.
Think about that next time God seems far away.
