Mother’s Day 7 Days of Prayer: Day 6
DAY 6 – BLESSINGS FOR THE DAY
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
For Mom:
Father, this is my prayer today that you will bless and keep my Mom. Bless her in every endeavor today. Thank you for the blessings we have received through her. I pray you would make your face to shine up on her today. Help her to have a keen awareness of your presence as she goes about her day. As the sun shines to warm and renew the earth, I pray you she would know the warmth of your presence and be renewed by your Spirit. Be gracious to her O God. I pray that you will look upon her with a cheerful and pleasant countenance today. Let her know of your delight in her and give her peace in every circumstance. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Grandmother:
Father, thank you blessing us with Grandmother. I pray you would bless and keep her today. Make your face shine upon her. As the sun shines and brings warmth and beauty to the earth, I pray she will be warmed by your presence in her life today. Remind her of your delight in her. Lift your countenance upon her and give her peace today. I pray she will know that you are enabling her for every endeavor and that you are well pleased to work in and through her. Remind her of your blessings today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Children and Grandchildren:
Father, bless and keep my children today. I thank you that you are able to keep them wherever they are today. Thank you for blessing me with them. I pray you would make your face shine upon them. Open their eyes to see your delight in them and not simply your discipline. Be gracious to them O God. Lift your countenance upon them that they would walk in a manner that is well pleasing to you. Give them your peace today in all their endeavors. Help them to know the blessing they have in you and to extend blessing to others today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
