Mother’s Day 7 Days of Prayer: Day 1
DAY 1 – PRAYER FOR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD AND WILL
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. (Colossians 3:16)
For Mom:
Father, I pray for my mother to determine to continually allow Your Word to dwell in her richly. As she grows in Your Word, help her to always be obedient to it, and to Your will in every area of her life. I pray you would give her wisdom as she teaches and admonishes us and others in her area of influence. I pray you would give her a new song today and that she would rejoice greatly in you! Thank you for her life and her sacrifice. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Grandmother:
Father, I thank you for the years of wisdom my grandmother has and is able to share with us. I pray she will continue to allow Your Word to dwell in her richly. I pray she never tires of growing in Your Word; help her to always be obedient to it, and to Your will in every area of her life. I pray you would help her to know how to share her wisdom as she teaches her children and grandchildren. Thank you for her life and her sacrifice. Thank you for the heritage of faith she passes on to us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Children and Grandchildren:
Father, I pray for my children to determine to allow Your Word to dwell in them richly. As they grow in Your Word, I pray they would learn obedience to you brings blessing. Help them seek Your will in every area of their life. I pray they would receive the wisdom and admonishment of those you have placed in their lives to encourage them in their walk with you. I pray their hearts would be filled with gratitude and that you would order their steps in your Word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
