A Father’s Day Prayer Guide: Day 6
DAY 6 – A FATHER WHO SEES AND HEARS
Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD… Jeremiah 17:7
For Dad:
Father, help Dad to pause today and exhale his worries and his weariness. Help him to breathe in this promise- that You bless the man who trusts in You! Would You remind him of Your promises? That You will never let him go and that You go before him with power, precision, authority and attention to detail. Help him to know that like 1 Peter 5:7 says, he can “cast his cares on you because you care for him.” Lead him to rest in Your presence today. Give him an awareness of Your deep love for him and the blessing he has in You. We truly are blessed to call him Dad. Thank You for blessing us through him. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Grandfather:
Father, I pray today that my Grandfather will trust in You today. Help him to exhale his worries and breathe in Your promises. Remind him of Your promises that You will never let him go and that You go before him with power, precision, authority and attention to detail. Lead him to rest in Your presence today. Give him an awareness of Your love for him and the ways You have blessed him. We have been richly blessed through him. Thank You for blessing us with him. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Children and Grandchildren
Father, I pray for my children and grandchildren to know that obedience brings blessing. Help them, O God, to trust in You and to recognize Your blessing as a result of that trust. Help them to breathe in Your promises-that You will never let them go and that You go before them with power, precision, authority, and attention to detail. Give them an awareness of Your constant faithfulness and teach them that they can trust You completely. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
