Don’t be lukewarm

Why does Revelation 3 teach believers not to be lukewarm? In my recent interview with prophecy expert Dr. Ron Rhodes, he shares: “Jesus says, ‘I know your works. I know exactly what’s taking place in your church. You’re not getting away with anything. I see beneath the surface. I see exactly what’s happening.’ And the word or the phrase ‘I will vomit you out of my mouth,’ that’s severe. You know, today people like to believe in sort of a fluffy version of Jesus. But Jesus is not mincing words here. He’s talking about judgment; he’s talking about discipline. It’s not okay to be lukewarm.” We are called to reject mediocre Christianity and live completely for him.
