What You’ll Learn:
Is the Bible accurate? Critics often allege the Bible cannot be trusted because of many variants between manuscripts. What does the evidence reveal? First, there are many MORE copies of New Testament manuscripts than any other ancient document. No other book compares! Second, these documents are often EARLY in nature. The oldest fragment of John’s Gospel, for example, is dated to the first half of the second century, less than a hundred years from its composition. By comparing these multiple, early copies, we can have great confidence that we are reading what was written by its authors long ago. Its words have changed lives for centuries and continue to do so in our lives today.
