From secular classrooms to the latest documentary, many continue their skeptical attacks on the Bible’s integrity. Is the Bible really trustworthy? One answer is found in Scripture’s fulfilled prophecies. Only a supernatural book can accurately and repeatedly predict future events. The Bible prophesied the Messiah would come from Abraham’s family, be of the tribe of Judah, and would be born in Bethlehem. Isaiah 7:14 predicted the virgin birth of Jesus. Isaiah 35 promised the Messiah would give sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, and healing to the disabled. These are only a few of many fulfilled prophecies regarding Jesus. Prophecy helps provide proof that the Bible is true and can be fully trusted.
