What can we learn from the seven churches of Revelation? In my interview with prophecy expert Dr. Mark Hitchcock, he notes important application from the message to the church at Ephesus: “They had all the right doctrine, they knew the right things, but they had fallen away in their love and their passion for Jesus Christ. And that’s a great warning really for all of us today, that we not allow other things to come in and replace our love for Jesus Christ.” What a powerful word! We may know the truth, yet we must also grow in our love for Christ daily. As Jesus said, let’s return to our “first love” for Him today.
