Not Ashamed of the Gospel

It seems like every week there is a new headline with a school being told they are doing something wrong by allowing certain forms of prayer or public expressions of faith. It is now acceptable to kneel during the National Anthem, but a football coach cannot kneel in prayer with his players after a game. Yet in Romans 1:16 the apostle Paul teaches, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.” Why? “Because it is the salvation for everyone who believes.” While we seek to obey the law, we must pursue every opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with others. Don’t be afraid. Be bold in your faith and share Christ with someone today.
