Let me say thank you for being such loving and generous people who pray for us and want to see the gospel spread to people around the world.
Each week as the TV program goes out, I can’t help but think of John 20:31 where God tells us “…these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31).
The Apostle also wrote, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of God that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).
Do you realize that millions of people in our world do not know these words?
Heaven is a real place and so is Hell. But many Christians have never won one person to the Lord even though they go to church each Sunday and may have four or five Bibles on their shelves at home.
But thanks to your love for people and generosity in giving, as of now you have reached 16,742,767 people who are in listening groups listening to Audio Bibles each week in 83 countries in 253 different languages. Workers at Faith Comes By Hearing tell us that half of these people who have listened to the Word of God for the first time have become new Christians. That’s about 8.8 million people who have received Jesus as their Savior.
After our series with Anne Graham Lotz and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright, we will begin our new series with Senior Vice President of Faith Comes By Hearing, Morgan Jackson. He will tell you how many Audio Bibles still need to be translated to reach the last 2,000 languages for people on earth who do not have God’s Word in their own language.
There is great progress being made in this area, and we are hoping to reach our goal sooner than we expected.
Also, please remember the BibleSticks that come with earphones so people can listen to the Bible privately, and Micro SD cards that can fit in people’s cell phones. These are very much in demand.
I believe that when you get to Heaven, you are going to be introduced to people who accepted Jesus as Savior because you gave these tools.
Finally, please remember that you can watch our TV program each week free of charge on Roku TV, YouTube, the JAshow app, and on our website.
Till the whole world knows,
John and Darlene Ankerberg
