What You’ll Learn
You know when we look at the Bible we realize the early Christians used an interesting word when talking about Christ’s return. It’s “maranatha.” What does it mean? Well theologian Dr. Renald Showers explains. “And what’s interesting is that’s a combination of three Aramaic language words, “mar” “ana” “tha” which means ‘Our Lord come.’ And historians who have studied that particular term indicate that by the time that Paul wrote that letter this had become a common by word among Christians.” So let me sign off by saying, Maranatha, our Lord come!
