Recent celebrity deaths in our culture cause us to consider what happens after this life? Scripture teaches this life is not all there is. There is another life—eternal life—beyond this world. The Bible tells us both heaven and hell are real places. The choice we make in this life influence our afterlife. If you want to be sure you will spend all eternity with God in heaven, you must place your faith and trust in Jesus in this life. Acts 16:31 says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.” Don’t wait until another day. We have no promise regarding tomorrow or the number of days we will live. Choose to believe in Jesus today.
