God in the Storm

On Easter Sunday 2020, our local community of Chattanooga, Tennessee was impact by an epic tornado that destroyed hundreds of homes and left tens of thousands without power. Where is God in the midst of the storm? Despite the destruction, God was right where He has always promised to be—with us in the storm. As disaster relief crews began their work to remove trees and restore power, stories emerged of Christians helping those in need and even many people turning to faith in Christ. Though the tornado changed the lives of many in difficult ways, others have been transformed for eternity through the power of the gospel of Jesus. God is with us, even during life’s storms.
