A Barna survey of Millennials asked, “Is it wrong to share one’s personal beliefs with someone of a different faith in hopes that they will one day share the same faith?” Nearly half of today’s young adults answered “yes” to this question, indicating their concern with evangelism. Is evangelism somehow wrong today? Not according to Scripture! Jesus commands us to share the reason for the hope within us. The apostle Paul was compelled to share with the Jew first, and then with others. He wanted every person of all faiths to know Christ. This is our calling as well. Let’s remember to declare our faith to every person, even in a culture when doing so may be unpopular.
