Praying for Persecuted Believers

What You’ll Learn:

How can we help persecuted Christians around the world? The first step is to remember them. Hebrews 13:3 teaches, “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated since you also are in the body.” Early believers faced much ridicule, including beatings and imprisonment, just as many Christians do today. One way to remember our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ is to regularly pray for them. We may not have power to free imprisoned believers, but we can speak with the One who does. When we pray, God hears and responds to change lives. Don’t forget those who suffer for their faith in Christ. Pray for persecuted believers today.
