Did you know more Christians have been killed for their faith in the past century than in the previous twenty centuries? In many nations, living for Christ comes at a high price. Whether death, prison, or other forms of persecution, there is a tremendous amount of pressure for those who live out their faith. Hebrews 13:3 encourages, “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Our brothers and sisters in Christ need our support. Don’t forget about persecuted believers—lift them up in prayer and help when opportunities arise. Together, we can better live for Christ despite any circumstances.
