What You’ll Learn
How do you think that Christians should handle Halloween? First, we must acknowledge that the history and practices of this holiday are rooted in spiritism. This fact alone should caution those who consider participating in any portion of festivities. Further, Christians have a responsibility to be light on a dark night. Offering positive alternatives such as a church harvest parties or giving out Gospel tracts along with candy when people come by your door are just two ways to use this evening to help communicate a message that changes lives. The Bible teaches in Romans 12:21 not to be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good.
