Have you ever felt alone? It’s easy to forget God is with us all of the time. When life is difficult, the tendency is to feel like no one understands or can relate, yet the Lord is there—and cares—about our situations. James 4:8 reads, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” When God feels distant, our challenge is to come to Him. He is already there; we only need to take the time to connect with Him. When we do, we can experience His comfort. As Psalm 23 reminds, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.”
