Whose job do you think it is to make new disciples of Jesus? In a television interview that I did with Dr. Robby Gallaty he said, “Let me just clarify, it’s not just the job of the pastors to make disciples; it’s the job of all believers. Jesus gave the command to all believers, ‘Go therefore and make disciples.’” Now every Christian is called to make disciples. We must start with growing in God’s Word ourselves and sharing what we learn with those around us. Only then will we help fulfill Christ’s command in Matthew 28:19 to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Then Jesus added, “Surely, I am with you always to the very end of the age.”
