A Call to Prayer for Rachel-Ruth Wright

A few months ago we invited Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright into our studio to tape a series we will air later this year.

Yesterday we got word that Rachel-Ruth has been admitted to the hospital after suffering a serious health crisis. Her mother, Anne Graham Lotz, explained,

“Multiple times I have prayed Psalm 73:26 for people who were struggling with heart issues: ‘My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.’

“I am now driving the stake of my faith down deep into this promise for my daughter, Rachel-Ruth. She was rushed to the hospital on Saturday night with a heart attack, followed by a catheterization. Sunday afternoon, she had a second heart attack, followed by another catheterization.

“The mystery is that her heart has no blockages which can cause traditional style heart attacks. Hers is a very rare condition one doctor described as a ‘broken heart syndrome.’ There is no known cause. As I write this she is still in the hospital and will be for several more days as they continue to run tests.”

Please hold Rachel-Ruth Wright and her family up before the Father in prayer. Pray that her body will be healed. Pray that even in this time of crisis Rachel-Ruth and her family will model what it means to be a Christ-follower, especially in difficult times.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

Praying for Rachel and that Christ will be lifted up in her situation as the doctor’s see there is “no human treatment.” Our God is greater! Thank you for all the updates on your website. I don’t do social media except email and some Facebook, So, I’ll be on your website again soon. I gave last May (on Mother’s Day) to relieve some stress I was feeling about my own circumstances which I won’t speak of here. After watching your show on TV about the audio bibles and need for them in all unreached groups where literacy is a challenge, I was compelled to give, so I gave on Mother’s Day. Thank you for doing what is important and I’ve been praying for those who put themselves in harm’s way to record the audio proclaimers. That was a huge donation for me personally, but was blessed to give it. Thankful for the Lord’s provision in order to give. Praying for all ministries focused on proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ while we can. Many blessings!

Praying for complete healing and wisdom for the physicians who treat Rachel. Dear Lord, we cry out to you for her restoration and divine intervention for wisdom in treating your daughter who loves and serves you wholeheartedly in Jesus name. 🙏🏻
