April News Update

This month we celebrate Easter. And we as Christians should celebrate.  Only Jesus has claimed to be God, and proved it by dying on a cross, being buried in a tomb, and rising from the dead on the third day?

This month we will broadcast the good news of the gospel on TV stations and networks in over 200 nations. We will be sharing with people that only Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25)

I trust that you have placed your faith in Jesus and asked Him to forgive you of all your sins, and that He has entered your life through His Holy Spirit. Then you can know that someday when you die, He promises to take you to heaven to be with Him for all eternity. What a great Savior we have!

Our Television Programs Now Airing on Newsmax TV

I am also thrilled to share the news with you that our television programs are now airing weekly on Newsmax TV. Each week, you can catch our program at 9:30am Eastern Time after Dr. David Jeremiah’s program, or 8:30 am Central, 7:30 am Mountain, or 6:30 am Pacific.

How many people does Newsmax TV reach? The network reaches about 75 million cable homes and has wide digital media player/mobile device availability—and it is still growing. If you don’t know where to find it on your TV, ask someone to show you.

During this Easter season we are airing our series “The Evidence for the Historical Jesus.” I completely re-edited this series by introducing different segments of my interview with Dr. Gary Habermas, one of the world’s leading historical scholars on the resurrection. I wanted all who watch to understand why the facts about the resurrection show Jesus rose from the dead.

We are making all six of these TV programs available on two DVDs. Or if you prefer you may download all six TV programs right now at our website at JA show.org. Please see the enclosed card for additional information.

We are also making available an encouraging devotional booklet entitled, “Of First Importance: 30 Days of Devotions from 1 Corinthians 15.” You may request this devotional booklet right now by calling us at 1-800–805–3030, or you may download it at JAshow.org.

Upcoming Series with Anne Graham Lotz

This month I will be taping a program with Billy Graham’s daughter, Anne Graham Lotz. Her topic will be “Jesus In Me.” We will explain why each Christian should be experiencing the Holy Spirit as a constant companion.

Called “the best preacher in the family” by her father, Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz speaks around the globe with the wisdom and authority of years spent studying God’s Word.

The New York Times named Anne as one of the five most influential evangelists of her generation. She’s been profiled on 60 Minutes and has appeared on TV programs such as Larry King LiveThe Today Show, and Hannity Live. Her Just Give Me Jesus revivals have been held in more than 30 cities and in 12 different countries, with hundreds of thousands of attendees.

I have heard her speak many times, and each time the audience hardly moves because they want to hear what she has to say next.

Christ Among Many Gods

Have you heard people say that the world’s religions are really all the same? One is as good as another, so it does not matter which is yours. They see all religions as equal. But is this true?

I will be taping a new series with Dr. Erwin Lutzer in which you will see why Christ is absolutely unique, and debunk the myths many proclaim today.

The tension between tolerance and truth is growing quickly in our country. This is going to affect many of us as we represent Christ. Our series “Christ Among Other Gods” will help you understand and navigate these challenges. What’s more, it will help you grow in your love for Jesus who is the only way, truth, and life.

The Case for Miracles

I have invited New York Times bestselling author Lee Strobel to be my guest for this series. He will turn his investigative sights on the hot-button issue of miracles—whether it’s credible to believe God intervenes supernaturally in people’s lives today.

This series features the results of exclusive new scientific polling which Lee has put in his new book, plus first-hand reports that show miracle accounts are much more common than people think.

You will hear how Lee interviewed America’s foremost skeptic who built a seemingly persuasive case against the miraculous. But Lee traveled the country to quiz scholars to see whether they could offer solid answers to these atheistic objections.

You will hear how he encountered astounding accounts of healings and other phenomena that simply cannot be explained away by naturalistic causes.

This is going to be a fascinating series that you won’t want to miss.

The Case for Christmas

I asked Lee Strobel to do a second series with me on Christmas. Who was the baby in the manger that first Christmas morning? Some say He would become a great moral leader; others a social critic; till others view Jesus as a profound philosopher, a rabbi, a feminist, a prophet, and more. Many are convinced He was the divine Son of God. But how can you know for sure?

Consulting experts on the Bible, archaeology, and messianic prophecy, Lee Strobel searched out the true identity of the child in the manger. If Jesus really was God in the flesh, he argues that then there ought to be credible Eyewitness Evidence—Can the biographies of Jesus be trusted? Scientific Evidence—What does archaeology reveal? Profile Evidence—Did Jesus fulfill the attributes of God? Fingerprint Evidence—Did Jesus uniquely match the identity of the Messiah?

“The Case for Christmas” invites our audience to consider why Christmas matters in the first place. Somewhere beyond the traditions of the holiday lies the truth. You will find Lee’s answers perfect as a gift or for use in ministry during the Christmas season or any other time of the year.

So we have a lot of great series coming your way that will help strengthen your faith and provide the answers you need for your non-Christian friends.

Report About Audio Bibles You Gave At Christmas

Starting in May I have asked Morgan Jackson to report to you how God has used the audio Bibles many of you gave at Christmas to those overseas who had never had a Bible in their language. As we began Christmas 2020, there were 4,811,099 people in listening groups listening to audio Bibles you had given.

Now, four months later, there are 5,733,221 million people in audio Bible listening groups, a total of 922,122 more people. Further, approximately 2.85 million people have become followers of Christ because of your gifts over the last four years.  So, your overflowing generosity is making an eternal impact.

For those who have yet to hear,

John and Darlene
