Now, over the past few weeks we have been hearing from Morgan Jackson of Faith Comes By Hearing about the impact of Audio Bibles you and others like you have provided.
What kind of people benefit? Here are just a few examples of people in a restricted country who have heard God speak to them in their own language. Local pastors report:
- People who are unable to read but listen carefully to the Audio Bible.
- Drug addicts who benefit from listening to God’s Word
- People plagued by evil spirits who are released through hearing God’s Word.
- Sick and disabled people who hear and receive healing and comfort.
Others have testified, “We can listen to pure Scripture without additional opinions;” and that “The Audio Bible draws us closer to God through His Word.”
As we listen to these testimonies, we recognize the truth found in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
I also hope you have been encouraged as you have listened to Morgan Jackson in our first few programs talk about how the Oral Bible Translation process is accelerating the translation of Scripture into new languages.
As a result, I believe that many books of Scripture will be placed on Audio Bibles in hundreds of languages before 2033, and we can fulfill the Great Commission.
We have also been excited by the fact that through your donations to the John Ankerberg Show more than 15 million people in 84 countries are now hearing and responding to God’s Word in their own heart language in listening groups every week.
Faith Comes By Hearing national workers estimate 7.5 million plus people have come to faith in Christ as a direct result of the Audio Bibles you have provided in the last 10 years.
This year we are excited to have two generous donors who each have agreed to match every device you give during these programs. This means if you give $500 for one Audio Bible, our two generous donors will each match your Audio Bible so you will be providing 3 Audio Bibles.
Statistically, about 90 people will listen to one Audio Bible, and 45 of those who hear God’s Word for the first time through an Audio Bible will come to faith in Christ.
So three Audio Bibles will be listened to by 280 people, and 135 of them will accept Christ as their Savior.
Then, if you give $1,000 for 2 Audio Bibles, our two special donors will each match your two Proclaimers, so you will really be giving 6 Audio Bibles that will reach 540 people and potentially win 270 people for the Kingdom.
If you give a gift of $2,000 for 4 Audio Bibles, your Audio Bibles will be matched, and you will be providing 12 Audio Bibles that will reach 1080 people, and potentially 540 people will accept Christ.
It is very unusual that we have 2 generous donors who will match whatever number of Audio Bibles you give. If you have never won a person to the Lord here is a chance for you to win as many people as God lays on your heart.
