If Jesus Christ walked up to you and asked you to do something for Him, would you do it?
Well, Jesus did ask us to do something for Him. He asked you and me to go and share the gospel and make disciples of all the nations.
When we get to heaven if Jesus asks you, “How many people did you tell about me,” what will you tell Him?
My one goal in life has been to tell people about how Jesus died for them, paid for their sins, and will come into their life and forgive them, and give them eternal life if they just believe in Him. I started doing this when I was in High School. I’ve had many chances, but I still wish I had done more.
That’s why when I heard Morgan Jackson tell me about Faith Comes By Hearing’s goal to bring the gospel on Audio Bibles to millions of people in the world who have never had a Bible in their own language, I immediately wanted to help him.
I also thought that those of you who have watched and supported our TV programs since 1980, would also want to bring the gospel to millions of people in different countries.
And you have. Working with Faith Comes By Hearing for the last 10 years, our ministry has provided Audio Bibles to more than 15 million people around the world who are now in listening groups in 83 countries in 254 languages listening every week to an Audio Bible that our Ankerberg donors have given.
Reports reveal that about 7.5 million of those 15 million people have come to a saving faith in Christ through listening to the Audio Bibles you have provided.
As these folks continue to listen to Scripture, they are being discipled and growing in their faith. During January and February Morgan will tell you what is happening in many countries on our TV programs.
I hope this year God will let us see one or two million more people come to believe in Christ. But we can’t do it without you.
If you give one Audio Bible, we have one anonymous donor who will match your Audio Bible with one more. So, you will actually be giving two Audio Bibles. Then a second donor will give one more Audio Bible, so your one gift will really provide three Audio Bibles!
If you give two Audio Bibles our two donors will each give two more, so you will really be giving six Audio Bibles.
If you give four Audio Bibles, our donors will each give four, so you will provide 12 Audio Bibles.
