If someone asked you where God is, what would you say? Are there places where God cannot be found? The Bible teaches that God is Omni-present: meaning that God is everywhere. As an infinite spiritual being there is no place in the universe where God is not present. But this does not mean God is part of the universe. Theologian Norm Geisler explains: God is present to the whole universe the way a mind is to it’s brain. The mind is present to the brain and penetrates it without being part of it. We can rejoice that God is always with us; his creation. As the Psalmist proclaimed to God: “Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?”
