People continue to ask where is God in the pandemic? He has not changed, and He is still here. Jesus promised in Matthew 28:20 that He would be with us until the end of the age. So, what should our response be to God during the pandemic? First, we seek God to answer prayers for healing. Medical assistance is essential, yet God’s power is far greater. Second, we are to turn to the Lord in humility. As in biblical times, God may be using this time to draw us closer to Him. We live in troubling times, yet Jesus said not to let our hearts be troubled. There is a difference! Encourage others despite the challenges of our world today.
